Our business and website

The Fishician provides marine electronics and accessories, boat rigging, and installation services. Our online store is hosted by Shopify. These terms describe the use of our website and our retail and installation services, together with our Shipping Policy, 30-Day Return Policy, and Privacy Policy.

Website use

Use the website lawfully and provide accurate contact, order, and service information. Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, or submit fraudulent orders. Product information and availability may change. Contact us before purchasing if you need help confirming compatibility with your boat or existing equipment.

Products, pricing, and orders

Prices are stated in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are displayed at checkout. Availability is subject to confirmation. If we discover an error or cannot fulfill your order, we will contact you to explain the issue and arrange an appropriate correction or refund for unfulfilled merchandise. We will not substitute a product or charge a higher price without your agreement.

Shipping

We currently ship to the contiguous 48 United States. Economy shipping costs $9.95 for orders of less than $100 and is free for orders $100+. Faster services cost extra; refer to the Shipping Policy for rates and restrictions. Truck-freight products are not currently available for online purchase. Orders may ship from distribution partners and arrive in separate packages. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates.

Returns and warranty service

Eligible merchandise may be returned within 30 days of delivery under our 30-Day Return Policy. Return authorization is required. Customers pay return shipping for change-of-mind returns, and original shipping charges are nonrefundable for those returns. Restocking fees of up to 15% may apply as described in that policy. Product condition requirements and exclusions also apply.

Manufacturer warranty and repair service are subject to the applicable manufacturer’s terms. Contact us for assistance identifying the appropriate service process. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Installation services

Labor rate is $125 per hour. Jobs are quoted by the hour. Mobile service fees depend on location and are quoted separately. Customer drop-off is available by appointment in Mayville, MI. Boat pickup is available for an additional quoted fee. Requested dates are subject to availability and require appointment confirmation.

An inquiry is a request to discuss a project; it does not confirm an appointment or authorize work. We will discuss the project scope and quote with you before arranging the work.

Privacy and email signup

Installation inquiry details are used to respond and arrange service. Promotional email signup is optional and separate. Refer to our Privacy Policy for information handling and privacy choices.

Links to manufacturer or other third-party websites are provided for convenience. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Updates and contact

We may update these terms for future website use, orders, and services. Updates do not retroactively change agreed terms for an existing order or installation project.
